Monday:  GAP Washwell Mid Rise Favorite Ankle Jegging. These are not the exact jeans I am wearing, but the stretch quality is very similar. Tuesday:  SPANX Faux Leather Leggings They come in an amazing array of colors and are so comfortable.  I would suggest to size up. I love Birkenstock's!  So when I saw "Birkenstock for $39.99" I thought I had died and gone to heaven or it was a scam.  To my delight, both were false, I was very much alive and reading the website correctly.  The  Essential Gizeh Flip Flop comes in so many fun colors, it was hard to decide which one, but of course I went with the basic white.  I had a Nordstrom gift card burning a hole in my wallet and bonus, my Nordstrom store had my size & color, 2 hours later they were ready to be picked up!  They also have different colors  and sizes at these retailers:  DSW , Zappos ,  Birkenstock  and Dicks . Mothers Day I developed a erysipelas infection in Bertha .  Happy Mothers Day you get a fever, chills and horrible pain in your leg . . . I don't think Hallmark has a card for that.  I was laying low for a few days, so my husband picked them up.  I opened the box and to my surprise they felt light as a feather....

My goal in life besides being a good mom, wife, friend and human is to find stretchy pants (said in a Nacho Libre voice.)  If you have a lymphie leg or not, these pants, jeggings, leggings whatever you want to call them are a God send to my spring and summer wardrobe. It's the HUE Ripped Denim Skimmer .  This pant come in three different colors, the one I am wearing in the picture below is the Midnight Rinse.  Side note I always check retailmenot.com to find coupon codes.  I found a 20% off code for these.   So I am usually a Large to X-Large in clothing.  To be safe that this pair of pants fit Bertha I tried the XL.  While they fit my leg, they do seem a bit loose in my hips & booty, but I won't complain about that problem, ha ha.  Of course I wore them with my nude compression garment so through the rips it looked a little more natural.  My husband jokes that, because I wore my nude stocking I camouflaged my lymphie leg, ...

I have a pretty casual life.  I'm a stay at home Mom, wife and professional cancer patient.  I live in the PNW where you can pretty much get away wearing anything anywhere.  The home of Portlandia.  When I watch that show it feels more like a documentary.  So maybe the next phrase won't make sense,  but I was on the hunt for fancy sneakers.  I don't even know really what to call them, tennis shoes, kicks?  Basically I live in Nikes, but was looking for a "dress up tennis shoe." I usually go up a size to accommodate Bertha .  But, after my compression stocking I am looking for shoes that for sure can either stretch or come in a wide.  I'm at the age where I am about to fall into a different age category as well.  The first age category to go was the 18-24, now I'm hanging on for dear life in the 25-34 category, but in my mind I am still 21.  I will forever be 21, however my body keeps telling me otherwise. And so has my heart for these shoes!  Hallelujah!  Is what I actually said when I tried the Reese shoe by Mossimo Co.   I have been looking for a spring sneaker to wear that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.  I also need size 11 most of the time, which can be difficult to find to try on in stores.  Before my past surgery and before my lymphie leg got out of control, I was still able to wear my normal size 10 shoes.  However after the surgery when my leg ballooned up, I needed to go up a size or two and it seems to give Bertha  enough room compression stocking and all.  This is my first time ordering wide shoes from Target, so I ordered an 11 and 12 wide, just to be on the safe side.  I always try on the larger size first, whether it's a shirt, pants or shoes.  I hate trying something om that "should be my size" only to realize, nope girl you have got to go bigger!
