Loving Life in Versatile Lounge Pants
I'm at SAHM (stay at home Mama.) About a year ago I started working again, but due to recent health issues I decided to step down from my position. Although it was a difficult decision to stop working and be home full time. I know it was the right choice for my health and my family. Especially since COVID started my days have been pretty low key. My kids are bigger now and gone are the days where I would have to guess if it was poop of chocolate on my shirt. And I thankfully I no longer need to pack a change of clothes for everyone in our family (including myself) for a simple day out. I can actually wear a white shirt and it is still stain free by the end of the day . . . unless I myself have spilled . . . which happens more than I would like to admit. I've graduated to being able to wear dangle earrings without fear of them being ripped out! If you have kids you know what a big deal these things are.
Even with all of these exciting changes I still pretty much live in cozy and comfy clothes. So I have tried to get creative with my wardrobe and find items I can sleep in or wear for a night on the town, Impossible right . . . so I thought, until I found these lounge pants at Target. I had had my eye on them for months and then on an ordinary day there they were on the sale rack-in my size!! I'm not kidding when I say they are one of the most comfortable pair of pants I've ever had (pajamas included.) They are stretchy enough for Bertha and don't cut in on her ankle. They do stretch out a bit, so if your size isn't avalible, I think you would be safe to size down.
Sadly since I waited until they were on sale, most color and sizes are sold out online, but you may have luck finding them in your nearest Target. They are the JoyLab brand at Target and JoyLab did come out with a very similar jogger with even more colors to choose from! Here are a few ways I decided to style them.
